What is Posie? What is Posie Gets Cozy?
Posie: Rosy Little Things is the name of my little a one-woman production studio that designs and creates one-of-a-kind handbags, accessories, crochetwear, and original gifts. I sew, write patterns for, crochet, and otherwise fashion all products, along with my trusty helpers, Andy and Clover Meadow.

Posie Gets Cozy is the name of my blog.

Where can I find Posie products?
Posie items, patterns, and occasionally kits can be found exclusively on this web site, which is updated every few months with new things.

When will more of my favorite item be available?
It's hard to say when exactly, or even if. I don't have a specific schedule and usually design and create products on a whim, which is the only way I feel my work stays fresh and special. I don't normally remake things once they've sold out. I often give previews of what's coming up on the blog, and give notice before the site is updated, but I can't manage individual alerts. I'm sorry about that. Checking the blog pretty regularly is the best way to know when the shop will be updated with new things.

How do I buy something in this web shop?
This web shop has several different kinds of products: downloadable PDF crochet patterns, downloadable PDF sewing patterns, and then kits and supplies that will be shipped directly to you. (Note: All sewing and crochet patterns are available as downloads only. I do not ship hard copies.) Just use the “add to cart” or "buy now" button on the individual item page for each product, and you’ll be directed to set up payment details and provide your shipping information through Ravlery (for crochet patterns), Digital Products Download (for sewing patterns, or Paypal for kits and supplies. I no longer accept checks or credit cards, though you can use a credit card to pay via Paypal without having a Paypal account.

How long does my kit take to come?
When producing kits, we generally take pre-orders so that we know how many kits to make. Estimated shipping dates will be listed on the product page, near the order button, so you know how long it will be before your kit leaves the studio here.

Do you ship overseas?
Yes. All overseas shipments are sent via USPS and charged a higher shipping fee depending on location. Fees are added automatically when you place your order via Paypal. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Do you sell Posie products, patterns, or kits wholesale to other boutiques?
No. My patterns and kits are available exclusively here in the Posie web shop. My books, however, are available in bookstores far and wide.

Will you make a handbag/hat/scarf/etc. customized for me? Do you accept commissions for crochet and sewing projects? Can I place a special order for something I've seen on the "sold things" page?
I wish I could, but unfortunately I don’t offer any products or patterns other than what is pictured and available on the web site. Once something is sold, it's unlikely that it will be duplicated exactly. I am not able to accept commissions or special projects at this time. But thanks for asking!

Will you share your sources for materials/fonts/packaging/labels/products?
With apologies, probably not. I work really hard to find unique sources for the work I do, and it is my steadfast policy to keep certain information to myself. I'm frequently sharing information over at my blog, but if you don't find info about what you're looking for there, chances are good it's just one of those things I don't share.

How do I purchase something I've seen in your studio but which doesn't appear in your web shop, like the crocheted bird mobile, crocheted slippers, stuffed animals, or embroidery samplers? Where can I find the same sewing notions/Chinese lanterns/other purchased items pictured?
Unfortunately, unless products are actually listed in my web shop, they are unavailable for purchase. When my studio or home is photographed, frequently older Posie items that are no longer available or items from my personal collection make it onto the pages of magazines, books, or into my own blog. These items are generally one-of-a-kind pieces that I've kept for myself (or were made from someone else's pattern, which precludes me selling them) and not available for sale. The bird mobile was made many years ago from a free pattern found on the internet. The slippers are a version of ones found in Erika Knight's book Simple Crochet. The stuffed animals are from a variety of patterns from Japanese craft books, magazines, and vintage patterns, and the embroidered samplers are compiled from various embroidery books and vintage monograms.

I've purchased lots of things that have been photographed around my house and in my studio, many of them vintage, and I don't have source information for those things. Oftentimes they were gifts, antiques, or I just don't remember. Sorry!
